Apple Pie

Preparation time - 10 minutes
Baking time - 15 minutes
Serves - 3-4
Ingredients
2 Tart cases (half baked)
Extra pastry to cover the pie
Apple filling
1 large Green apple
1 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp Brown sugar
1/8 tsp Cinnamon powder
Method
For apple filling, peel, core and cut apple to small cubes.
Heat a fryer pan by itself and add the apple, when it is hot. Cook it until it caramelises.
Add sugar, butter and cinnamon and toss it on the fire until combines.
Allow it to cool down and fill the tart cases.
Cover pie, as you like, cut off the excess dough.
Brush pie with milk or egg wash.
Bake in a preheated oven, at 160°C for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Top with powdered sugar, and server warm with a scoop of ice cream.
