Healthy Oat Cookies
The perfect “guilt-free” cookies that can be made quickly during those midnight hangry moments!
Recipe
Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time - 5 minutes
Baking time - 10 minutes
Makes - 8 cookies
Ingredients
1 cup Rolled Oats
1 large ripe Banana
40 - 60 gms dark Chocolate
3 tbsp Peanut butter
Method
Mash the bananas completely.
Add in the peanut butter. Mix well.
Add in the oats and chocolate chips, make sure to incorporate completely.
Line a tray with parchment paper, roll the mix into tiny balls.
Press slightly at the top.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 12 minutes.
Chef’s tips
If you’re using unsweetened peanut butter, add 1.5 tbsp of date syrup or 1 tbsp of maple syrup.
You can substitute peanut butter with almond butter.
Use crunchy peanut butter to add more texture to the cookies.
