Scallion Dipping Sauce

Recipe

Preparation time - 5 minutes

Cooking time - 10 minutes

Serves - 3-4

Ingredients

1 tbsp Sesame oil 

1 tbsp Coconut oil

2 Cloves of Garlic 

1 tsp Chopped Ginger 

1.5-2 Birds eye chillis (finely chopped)

4 Scallion stalks (finely chopped)

25ml Maple syrup

50ml Light soy sauce 

Method

  1. Warm the coconut oil and sesame oil in a wok/pan on medium heat.

  2. Add the garlic and ginger, heat for 1-2 minutes.

  3. Add the chillis and scallions. 

  4. Pour in the maple syrup and soy sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes. 

  5. Add toasted sesame seeds, and serve with dim-sums or any dish of your choice.
