Strawberry Chocolate Cake

Recipe

Preparation time - 10 minutes

Cooking time - 40 - 45 minutes

Method

3/4 cup Milk

1/4 cup Orange juice

1/2 tsp Vanilla essence

1/3cup + 2 tbsp Coconut Oil

3/4 cup Sugar

1/4 tsp Orange Zest

1/2 cup AP Flour

1/2 cup Almond flour

2 tbsp Cocoa Powder

1 tsp Baking Powder

1/4 tsp Baking Soda

1/4 cup Chocolate chips

1/4 cup Finely chopped strawberries

3 Strawberries (thing sliced for garnish)

Method

1. Whisk together milk, vanilla, orange juice, oil, sugar and orange zest till the sugar melts.

2. Sift in the flour, almond powder, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, baking powder.

3. Add in chocolate chips , salt, chopped strawberries and mix it till it comes together.

4. Garnish the top with the sliced strawberries.

5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 40-45 mins.

Chef’s tips

1. Remember to check your cake after 40 minutes.
